Mutsa Chironga, 2004

I definitely had to pinch myself once or twice during the year!

I graduated with an economics degree from King's College, Cambridge in 2002, and then worked for two years as an economist in the UK Civil Service.

I then went on to Harvard's Kennedy School of Government to complete a 2-year Masters in Public Administration and International Development (MPA/ID).

Being a Kennedy Scholar at Harvard was a fantastic opportunity to learn from leading professors in my field, to develop useful professional skills, and to make many new friends and contacts from around the world.

There were also several unforgettable events organised specifically for the Kennedy Scholars where we have been able to chat or dine with very distinguished people - I definitely had to pinch myself once or twice during the year!
