Giving from the US

If you are based in the United States, it is possible to make a gift and take a U.S. income tax deduction by donating to the British Schools & Universities Foundation (Federal Tax ID 13-616-1189), a charitable organisation approved by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service under code Section 501(c)(3). You can then express a preference that your donation benefit the Kennedy Memorial Trust. (Such preferences are respected by the Foundation but all grants are made at its sole discretion, as required by the IRS).

Giving by cheque

  • Make cheques payable to the British Schools & Universities Foundation, Inc.
  • Indicate a preference for the Kennedy Memorial Trust either on your cheque or by completing a transmittal form
  • Postmark on or before December 31st to qualify for current-year tax deduction.
  • Cheques and Donor Transmittal Forms should be sent to:

British Schools and Universities Foundation
575 Madison Avenue, Suite 1006
New York, NY 10022-2511

  • BSUF will acknowledge your gift with a receipt that should be retained for tax purposes.

Giving by Credit Card

  • Credit card donations to BSUF can be made securely at Network for Good. There you can make a one-time or recurring donation, and can indicate a preference for the Kennedy Memorial Trust.
  • Network for Good does impose a 3% processing fee, however, so you may wish to make larger donations by cheque. Please note that for online gifts, your receipt for tax purposes will come from Network for Good.
